Warehouse #1 NYE/HM “Anansi” 63% Blanc

New Yarmouth Estate, the mythical distillery located in Clarendon parish close to the Clarendon distillery and Monymusk Sugar Factory. NYE has both Pot and column stills and is said to be the production facility for Wray & Nephew overproof as well as several blend components that might end up in Appleton and various other products.

As secretive as the owners are, any information is rare, and any independent bottling is even rarer. To date no one has gotten in, but for the first time we have gotten a marque out of the distillery that only a few have before: NYE/HM, our latest Warehouse #1 Overproof Rum.

This heavy, fruity marque clocks at the classic Jamaican 63% ABV with an ester count of gr/hl 500-700. Though we’re not sure, rumor has it that the fermentation is long, open with dunder/muck used in the process.
